RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Tagging. On customer request, we RFID tag all serialized, load rated products for tracing and identification.
The tagging system is tied into the Lifting Products Database that we maintain. 

RFID tagged products have an electronic record which includes:
            The RFID number
            The product description
            The In Service Date
            Any inspections or service performed by Whitelaw Rigging
            The status of the product at the last recorded inspection

RFID tagged products can be scanned with a handheld device to bring up the product history as described above.

In a fully implemented RFID inspection system, the inspector scans the RFID tag, the handheld device brings up the product and the associated inspection criteria. The inspection is conducted and recorded on the handheld device. The inspection is then uploaded to the Lifting Products Database. An inspection report is immediately produced from the database and provided to the customer.
